call to order the May 26th meeting of
the Madison County Board of
Commissioners. My name is Britt Wallace.
If everyone would please introduce
themselves. Britt Wallace, County

I have a We have a resolution requesting
the approval of proposal for proposal
from Stark Conway Architects for
preliminary design of the Sheriff's new
building. We do close on that property
Wednesday, June 3rd at 10:00 a.m.
The property will be ours,
but we need to move into preliminary
design in order to
proceed with our application for the
USDA Rural Development Grant as well as
the
accompanying loan if you decide to go
with that. So.
That's essentially what I have for you
today.
I'll send that
in the resolution, so.

Uh just a couple of small things. Um One
Columbus they have new leadership. Um so
they're doing tours of all of the um
kind of like listening tour for all of
the communities in the One Columbus
region, which is 11 counties. So.
They'll be out um in Madison uh
June 10th. So they're meeting with
a couple different groups. Um
London, West Jefferson.
Some of the towns.
Chillicothe, so that will be good to
understand it since this um Jonas
Peterson he previously was from
um
Michigan area, and so
uh it'll be new leadership, new
direction, so
it'd be good for him to hear Madison
County. Every community is unique, and
um
And then under a thing is the um
believe I forwarded to all of y'all a
worker
um webinar to go over some recent uh
legislative changes on uh
confidentiality provisions.

that is June 9th at 10:30.
So, they're they're doing that webinar
for kind of through OEDA,
um Ohio Economic Development
Association. So, we also
have been outside counsel with us with
their doing for um OEDA.
So, if we want to have them speak on it
more,
we can. That's how it would be good
um
just refresh you about what
what the changes are and how it affects
some of the confidentiality.
